What is a Psychological Video Review?
A Psychological Video Review is a service where a licensed psychologist analyzes short video clips of your child in certain situations. By reviewing these clips, the psychologist can provide specifically tailored advice and guidance to help you better understand your child's development and address any challenges they may be facing.
How Does the Process Work?
Record: Use your smartphone or camera to record up to 3 short video clips (no more than 5 minutes each) of your child in various situations.
Upload: Securely upload the videos to our platform (We will provide you a direct link via email for securely uploading your videos).
Review: A qualified psychologist will review the videos and provide a detailed analysis.
Analysis: You'll receive a comprehensive audio overlay response over your original video to receive advising as the video plays back. *If the doctor determines the content of the videos warrants additional information beyond the audio analysis, additional documents may be provided.
What Kind of Situations Should I Record?
You can record your child in various settings, such as:
During mealtimes, playtime, bedtime routines, working on homework, family gatherings or while interacting with siblings or other family members. You may record any situation that shows an area of concern that you would like guidance on (with the exception of toileting or bathtime situations).
What Kind of Advice Can I Expect?
The psychologist can provide advice on a wide range of topics, including:
Behavioral issues: Tantrums, aggression, defiance, or anxiety.
Social skills: Difficulty making friends, interacting with peers, or sharing.
Emotional regulation: Managing emotions, such as anger, frustration, or sadness.
Developmental milestones: Meeting age-appropriate milestones, such as language development, motor skills, or cognitive abilities.
